Little deviations

🇫🇷 Hier, j’ai pris un certain plaisir à ne travailler quasiment que sur des projets non rémunérés (des cadeaux). C’était pas très raisonnable, mais à quoi bon être en indépendante si on ne peut pas s’autoriser ce genre d’écarts de temps en temps ? J’ai notamment passé 3h à transformer une créa Photoshop en maquette inDesign. Il n’y avait pas vraiment besoin, si ce n’est que ça facilite la prise en main du fichier par l’imprimeur en cas de problème. Mais c’est un travail rigoureux qui offre à la fin le plaisir d’un résultat propre et bien fini 😊

🇺🇸 Yesterday, I enjoyed myself working almost only on unpaid projects (gifts). It was not very reasonable, but what benefit is it to be independent if one can not afford these little deviations from time to time? In particular, I spent 3 hours transforming a Photoshop artwork into a inDesign mock-up. There was no real need to do that, except that it will facilitate files handling for the printer in case of problems. But it is a rigorous work that offers in the end the pleasure of a clean and well finished result. 😊
