Enjoying the sun

🇫🇷 Hier, il a fait tellement beau… Je n’ai pas travaillé de la journée (ou presque) : je n’ai pas pu m’y résoudre. Je suis allée dans une merveilleuse librairie où beaucoup de livres m’ont tenté. Je me suis finalement offert les Carnets de Goliarda Sapienza. Puis je suis allée travailler une heure sur au bord de la rivière. J’ai réussi à formuler plusieurs idées d’affiche pour Imaginascience et en ai choisi une. Il était alors 12h30. Et après… Après avoir hésité, je me suis achetée un sandwich et je suis allée me poser dans un parc avec mon nouveau livre. L’après-midi, j’ai fait une sieste, j’ai réfléchi aux repas de la semaine, choisi 2 recettes, fait les courses, cuisiné en écoutant des émissions, dîné en regardant Singing in the rain. A ce stade, je me suis remise au travail pour deux heures, histoire d’avoir une ébauche de mon affiche avant d’aller me coucher. Je suis très heureuse d’avoir su profiter de cette journée sans culpabiliser : c’est aussi pour ce genre de chose que j’ai choisi d’être indépendante après tout !

🇺🇸 Yesterday, the weather was so great … I couldn’t (quite) set myself to work. I went to a wonderful bookstore where many books tempted me. I finally got Goliarda Sapienza’s Notebooks. Then I went to work for an hour on the edge of the river. I managed to formulate several poster ideas for Imaginascience and chose one. It was then 12:30. And after … After hesitating, I bought a sandwich and went to a park with my new book. In the afternoon, I took a nap, plan the meals of the week, chose 2 recipes, went shopping, cooked while listening to programs, dined while watching Singing in the rain. At this point, I went back to work for two hours, just to complete a sketch of my poster before going to bed. I am very happy to have enjoyed this day without feeling guilty: it is also for this kind of thing that I chose to be independent after all!
