Instigating a big project

🇫🇷 Hier, j’ai passé l’après midi avec une nouvelle collègue/amie, Florence, à réfléchir à notre réponse pour un marché public concernant le plan d’urbanisme d’Annecy. C’était très intéressant et excitant :

1. Une commande d’une telle envergure : je n’ai encore jamais fait ça;
2. Florence est super chouette, et c’est chouette de découvrir son métier;
3. On a réfléchi aux compétences qui nous manquait et commencé à contacter des gens d’Oxalis pour monter une équipe;
4. C’est une commande pour un sujet sérieux, utile : pas une nouvelle histoire de startup !

🇺🇸 Yesterday, I spent the afternoon with a new colleague / friend, Florence, to think about our answer for a public contract (the urban plan of Annecy). It was very interesting and exciting:

• A command of this magnitude: I have never done that before;
• Florence is great, and it’s nice to discover her job;
• We listed the skills we lacked and started contacting Oxalis people to set up a team;
• It’s a command for a serious, useful matter : not a new startup business!
