Moving out for a few days to snowy mountains

🇫🇷 Hier, j’ai voyagé pour arriver dans un village de haute montagne où je vais passer la semaine avec mon compagnon, son frère et ses parents. J’ai commencé la journée par faire des courses au marché pour arriver là haut avec des produits frais, locaux, de saison, sans emballages, au moins pour les recettes que je vais cuisiner.

Ça représentait environ 1/3 de mon chargement, mais je ne le regrette pas (et puis, c’est le train qui l’a porté !). Je crois que dans tout ça, c’est vraiment la quantité de déchets et la pollution qui me chagrinent le plus quand je viens ici.

🇺🇸 Yesterday, I traveled to reach a mountain village where I will spend the week with my companion, his brother and his parents. I started the day shopping at the market to arrive at the village with fresh, local, seasonal products, without packaging, at least for the recipes I’m going to cook.

It was about 1/3 of my load, but I do not regret it (and after all, it’s the train and the bus that carried it). I think in all of this, it’s really the amount of waste and pollution that grieve me the most here.
